Pregnancy & Birth Support

Ever since I experienced pregnancy and birth myself, it has been one of my greatest passions. I believe every mama deserves to have an empowering birth experience, however that may look like for them. As a trained birth doula I can help you achieve that by:

  • Helping you prepare and plan for your birth

  • Providing evidence based research to help you make informed decisions

  • Providing continuous emotional and physical support throughout pregnancy and birth

  • Helping you prepare mentally for labor and process any fears you may have

  • Non clinical pain relieving/coping methods including positioning, massage, counter pressure, using a rebozo, free use of my TENS machine, and natural/holistic insight regarding traditional interventions during labor

  • If renting my birth pool, as a doula client, you receive a $50 discount, free delivery, set up, and take down

Peaceful Birth Support

  • Over the course of 1-2 prenatal meetings, I guide you in preparing for birth mentally and physically by helping you understand your birth preferences, overcoming your fears, and providing you with evidence based resources to help you make a birth plan. This includes access to my personal lending library and continuous text support, (meaning you can text me anytime you have question or concern!) I’m here for it all.

  • I will be on call for you from 38 weeks until your baby is born. I come to you whenever labor begins and you are feeling ready for more support. I can provide emotional support by preparing the birth space/creating a calm environment and offering encouragement for when things get hard. Physical support can look like massage, counter pressure, position changes, hydrotherapy, and keeping you hydrated/fueled up. I am also happy to snap a few beautiful pictures of your birth if desired. My support is tailored specifically to your needs and desires, so YOU tell me what YOU want, and I’ll do my best to make that happen!

  • Doulas do not replace the partner, rather, I work with them so we can both better support you! Should they at any point feel overwhelmed or unsure of how to help, I can help calm them and guide them on how to help. This is a big day for both of you, and you both deserve to feel close, included, and empowered.

  • After baby is born, I will stay for 1-3 hours as needed to help get you settled in as a family, snap a few family photos, help with breastfeeding, fetch you food, or anything else you may need.

    Sometime in the next month we will plan to get together for our last postpartum meeting where we can debrief your birth, check in on your feeding progress, and/or support you and your baby however needed… including but not limited to taking care of your baby while you catch up on sleep or tackling a few light household chores, depending how what you find most helpful.

  • My birth doula service fee is currently $800. A deposit of $400 must be paid at the time of signing contact to reserve your spot. The rest can be split into payments as needed, but must be paid in full before 35 weeks. Please reach out to me if you have special circumstances and I am happy to figure out a plan that works for both of us!
